I phoned CapitalAir to have my air conditioner serviced. Right from the start I received more than I expected. I work in customer service myself and I can honestly say I have never spoken to a CSO like Angela their receptionist. She went above and beyond to help me, which I appreciate very much. She was very efficient. It’s rare to find someone that courteous and I’m sure she is a Great Asset to CapitalAir. She’s a keeper!

CapitalAir recently completed a complex installation in our older townhouse. Several other companies had either provided unreasonable quotes, made proposals that didn’t achieve the outcome we wanted or simply thrown up their hands. CapitalAir’s team offered a solution that was fairly priced (albeit not cheap) and gave us the heating and cooling system we wanted. The team even talked us down from a larger more expensive set of units into one that was cheaper and better suited to our needs — a good sign of integrity.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Absolutely recommend their services. I unfortunately ended up with a lemon of a Dux split system which unsurprisingly stopped working while still under warranty. Dux were hopeless and knew nothing, thankfully I was forwarded to Capital Air who not only completed the service call and installation of the replacement unit but chased Dux up on my behalf and kept me in abreast of all developments along the way. I needed the evaporative air conditioner looked over at my rented house, as there was no record of when it had ever been serviced. Chris at Capital Air organised a tech to come out that very afternoon. Indeed, "Dan" was available 3 hours earlier than the appointment, but phoned ahead to make sure we were happy with an earlier arrival.

Dan was courteous and ready to jump up on the roof and clear out our unit of the accumulated muck and bugs of the a/c. He then checked for correct operation to specification, and gave us advice as to how to optimise the effectiveness of the unit. We were given a complete report on work done, and convenient options for payment without incurring surcharges.

I would not hesitate to recommend Capital Air for servicing of evaporative air conditioners, and will be calling Chris if ever we are in need of his firm's services.

We have had a Quantum water heater with solar panels for 25 years. It finally was ready to be replaced. We contacted Chris at Capital Air, the recommended Quantum dealer in Canberra, who came out at the specified time and within 24 hours provided a complete quotation. Installation was completed by Craig who was resourceful, competent and went above and beyond in getting the unit installed upstairs with the fan unit on the roof. The system is working perfectly and I was impressed by the workmanship and the service. The Customer Service Rep, Chris visited the house soon after to inspect the work and sign the paperwork. All in all an excellent experience and one that I would recommend to anyone.

Capital Air came out to service our Siddons Solarstream Heat Pump Hot Water unit. We had purchased a new unit and Tim and Chris worked tirelessly over the next 30 months to get it operating properly. Chris liaised with Siddons who were fantastic as well, and Siddons finally replaced the heat pump unit under warranty 3 and a half years after purchase. Tim twice came very late on a Friday night so we had hot water over the weekend and was always polite and very thorough. Chris continued to work with Siddons after the replacement pump was installed to make sure we operated it according to guidelines, and we now have it functioning perfectly, with minimal “on” time and hot water 24 hours a day. Thank you, and we will continue to use Capital Air.

Our 15 year old mitsubishi split system died, and call Capital Air – Greg the tech diagnosed a failed/shorted out compressor and we decided to replace the system with a Daikin – what an improvement – quieter inside and out, more powerful fan and more flexible setting options – and warms more quickly and maintains it without the effort of the old unit. Installed in under 3 hours with good humour and helpful advice and information. Can’t wait to see the difference in the winter power bill and see how this fares in summer too. Have used Capital Air for a few years now, firstly to replace a motor in my reverse cycle air conditioning unit several years ago during a very cold winter. Capital Air did everything possible to expedite the delivery and installation of the new motor and kept me informed of progress along the way. I used them to service the unit after winter last year and Capital Air’s service from the initial telephone call to book the service, the service man arriving and apologising for being a couple of minutes early, through to his service of the outdoor and ceiling units was faultless. The gentleman explained what he had done, he cleaned up after himself, gave me tips on how to prolong the filter of my unit and was extremely polite. The after service from Capital Air is fantastic too and other companies in Canberra should model themselves on Capital Air’s service. In fact, I used them as an example in a recent Customer Service training course I was involved with as to what constitutes good service. I would highly recommend Capital Air.

This morning I had my air conditioner serviced and a leak repaired. I wanted to thank you for the service you provided, in particular the young man who carried out the work. After making him wait a few minutes while I raced off to tend to a personal matter, he asked me all the right questions regarding the unit and what it was that I needed done. He then proceeded to go about his job, only to come back in thirty minutes to tell me that he had found the leak and repaired it. Not only did he keep me informed the entire time, but he took me to the outdoor unit and showed me exactly where the leak was and what he had done to repair it.
